Scope:

Provision of comprehensive maintenance management for the Camera Detected Offence Program (CDOP) infrastructure. The engagement covered physical and digital asset management, routine and reactive maintenance coordination, logistics, stakeholder liaison, planning advisory, development of an updated maintenance contract framework and contract management across the state.

Key Activities:

• Physical & Digital Asset Management: Monitored site infrastructure status, pending actions, risks, and opportunities; ensured availability of all digital resources (contracts, specifications, training, reports); developed a standard naming convention for the diverse pole types used by the program; and maintained accurate inventory records.
• Maintenance Execution: Coordinated preventative maintenance as per contractual agreements with service providers and prioritized resources for reactive maintenance to restore assets for recommissioning.
• Stakeholder Management & Planning: Liaised with program governance, sponsors, contractors, technology providers, and authorities; developed and maintained project dashboards to provide stakeholder access to online status reports; and reviewed current expenditure and timeframes to advise on options and improvements.
• Contract Management Support: Analysed contracts to identify issues for future renewals; monitored claims, quotes, and work in progress; supported finance and procurement teams; maintained financial reporting and provided cost projections for future years; and provided regular and exception-based reporting to stakeholders.

Outcome:

Sustained operational readiness of CDOP infrastructure statewide through effective coordination of preventive and reactive maintenance, rigorous contract oversight, and centralized management of physical and digital asset data. The Program dashboard also ensured clear visibility of delivery stages and task owners.
