We are traffic, software, systems, electrical, communications and mechatronics engineers and asset, project and program managers. We support technology planning and delivery in the transportation and water industries.
We are traffic, software, systems, electrical, communications and mechatronics engineers and asset, project and program managers. We support technology planning and delivery in the transportation and water industries.

Integrate brings extensive experience in strategic planning for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), having delivered comprehensive technology roadmaps and network intelligence plans for major government entities across Australia, including the Northern Territory Department of Logistics and Infrastructure (DLI), Transport for NSW, and the City of Gold Coast.
Our approach combines high-level strategy with financial rigor, evidenced by our delivery of costed ITS strategies, options assessments and business cases. Beyond conceptual planning, we bridge the gap between strategy and delivery through detailed needs assessments for municipalities like the City of Moreton Bay and the development of operational design reports for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), that define how complex networks will function in practice.

Our systems engineering capabilities across the whole asset life cycle are demonstrated through end-to-end delivery of complex transport projects, ranging from high-level Concepts of Operations to developing and delivering to detailed system requirements specifications. We have defined operational frameworks for major infrastructure, such as defining the system architecture, concept of operations and system requirements for the 1700 km Bruce Highway Road Operations Improvement Project.
Our expertise extends to designing and implementing equipment trials to support new system functionality proof of concepts, such has the Hold the Red trial for TMR.
We also rigorously validate designs through conducting Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) reviews and by developing test plans for new deployments to ensure new system deployments meet strict operational standards.

We offer some of the most experienced Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), smart lighting, and traffic signal designers in the industry, with skills in areas such as cooperative ITS (C-ITS), tolling and enforcement systems. Our team has contributed to delivering major arterial, motorway and tunnel design projects including the West Gate Tunnel ITS, Exit 45 ITS, WestConnex ITS, the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing ITS, lighting and signals and the Qatar Expressways Program ITS, which included arterial, viaduct, smart motorway and tunnel ITS design and systems engineering.
For smart lighting, we provided engineering management services for the 30,000 luminaire Smart LED Road Lighting project rollout across Queensland for TMR, as well as delivering large scale road lighting designs in the Northern Territory, and tunnel lighting upgrades in Queensland and NSW.
Our design approach integrates systems engineering best practice with practical delivery experience. These are supported by a rigorous internal review process to ensure designs meet operational, cost and maintenance requirements.

Our program management methodology extends our project management systems and processes by managing the inter-dependencies between multiple related projects; benefits realization; and alignment with long-term organizational goals. It involves orchestrating complex activities including planning, resource allocation, risk management, governance, procurement, and cross-discipline coordination to ensure that the overall outcomes deliver on the agreed objectives.
In our context at Integrate, this encompasses managing everything from feasibility assessments, system architecture and software requirements reviews, development of technology roadmaps and functional specifications through to design, construction, testing and commissioning, final inspections and asset handover for large-scale Intelligent Transport Systems and Smart Cities infrastructure.
